Ladies Meeting

It’s been a rapid approach to Thanksgiving this week or so. My recovery has been going well and so much has been happening in my life. I spent all of yesterday up at Redmond with Barbara from class. She had to have emergency surgery in her abdomen and I hung out with her daughter Aubrey and husband Danny while she went under the knife. It was a pretty awesome time. The surgery went well and all is well with her thus far. My sponsor DeeAnn similarly last week was taken to Floyd for emergency surgery involving her colon and intestines. She had been sick for several days. I visited her as well and made several meetings last week. Barbara mentioned for me to start praying away my character defects and just like my nightly prayer list, I will add this act into my morning routine. I will type up my list of character defects for ya’ll to read. It’s 50+ thus far. I hope to identify some of my key defects in order to make more deliberate efforts in self-identifying. I had sorta worked myself into a stupor as of Friday and during a conversation with Josh that night, he without prompting, began to pray over me. He is so eloquent and passionate in his prayer and it is as if he can hear my thoughts cause he speaks directly to and in behalf of my heart. Afterwards and since, my weekend has improved drastically. I am falling in love with my Alabama boy, dearly in love. We talk for hours and hours. Last night he called around midnight and we talked until nearly 3 a.m. and I had to get up for work not long thereafter. It’s not just run-of-the-mill conversation either. Passionate personal discussions about out pasts, our goals, our love. Hilarious ones about war, government, science, and religion. HILARIOUS. I thank God for him and it is hard to imagine a life without him now. I have grown so fond. Dear and precious heavenly father I just desire to give thanks to your divine creative abilities in perfecting a world in which we serve as a body of members united in purpose to further your kingdom, heaping opportunities to love and light the souls of others. God knows, all is well. Benjamin and Henry both got Student of the Month for November. Benjamin for courtesy and Henry received a blue printed shirt and was able to appear on Friday’s Morning Show at school. I took the boys that night to Schroeder’s to celebrate before delivering them to Justin and Haven’s salon ‘Oak Ridge’ later on. Unfortunately we attempted a trip to the arcade but it was completely emptied of games 😦 Just my luck. I ordered Jack’s phone for Christmas and still have many more gifts to get on. It’s a real difficult time for me as a single parent. Within a month will be almost all 3 sons birthdays. I am so blessed though. The girls and I, Jamison, Brook, Kaylee, even Shannon have begun a Ladies Meeting at Living Proof on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. It has been supremely powerfully eye-opening enriched my a poignant experience with the holy spirit. I adore hearing Jamison’s sweet soul chair and Kaylee’s prayers afterward. We are discussing doing a street ministry! Josh told me at first to pray and fast. Last night, he said he was voluntarily wishing to join us. Yay! Now I’m keenly aware of how much devil damage this man can bestow. I am sober and grateful for this beautiful, engaging journey I’ve found myself upon. Every single day, I learn more about who I am, my motives, my instincts, even intuitions. My spirituality grows and I learn the toxic ways and people to rid myself from. I am subsequently also learning to live by principle. Such as, if a close girlfriend were to date my ex-boyfriend. This is a deal-breaker in friendship, I am told from multiple, reliable friends. Sucks. Such is life. Not that I harbor any ill-will, just says more, I suppose, about their characters. Typically, I let people regard me just any old way. I’m learning this lays the groundwork to be further disrespected and subsequently taken advantage of… however, like I said, all is well. I thank God for my health, happiness, purpose, spiritual lifestyle, sober network, family, and for Josh. God has been more than gracious, keenly merciful as well.
